What Is LLOPA

Created by "Former Lifers", LLOPA is a transformational home, where women paroling after serving a life sentence live for 6 months to 1 years, (with an opportunity for an extension) become grounded, establish community connections and develop independence while obtaining the resources needed to reclaim their lives in the 21th century.

Our Approach

Because long termers/life termers have typically spent years in didactic style learning, our teaching approach is experiential and tactile where you learn the operation by doing the operation out in the field. (In The World Training).

How It Works

LLOPA partners with each woman while she is still in prison and walks her through 4 specific stages (Reintegration, Acclimation, Reclamation and Reciprocation) to ensure she is equipped for the next part of her journey.
